Title A name given to the resource WBAI Radio Programs, circa 1970s Description An account of the resource This collection consists of over a hundred recorded broadcasts from WBAI public radio, captured on compact audio cassettes by an unknown individual (or individuals). The tapes were likely dubbed from open reel masters before being moved to the Pacifica Radio Archives.  The tapes contain programs that are specific to feminism and lesbian communities, capturing the cultural and political conversations of the time. The collection includes panels, interviews, and listener Q&A with influential feminist writers, artists, poets, activists, and other cultural figures.
