The ten tapes covered several different meetings in chronological order, and were donated to the Daughters of Bilitis Video Project by Ruth Simpson. Atkinson was a politically minded feminist activist who wrote pamphlets such as "The Institution of Sexual Intercourse" and "Radical Feminism" throughout the 1960s and '70s. Her best known book is &lt;em&gt;Amazon Odyssey&lt;/em&gt; (1974). She has also worked in academia.</text>
